Sellers on Nest Commons may not list the items below. This list follows the Google Shopping policies and applicable US law. Listings that break these rules are removed and the seller may be suspended.
Prohibited (never allowed)
- Counterfeit goods: replicas, “inspired by”, or items bearing a brand name or logo without authorization.
- Trademark and copyright infringement: unlicensed characters, logos, team or celebrity designs, copied product photos or descriptions.
- Dangerous products: weapons, ammunition and parts, explosives, fireworks, tobacco and e-cigarettes, recreational drugs and drug paraphernalia.
- Products that enable dishonest behavior: fake documents, hacking tools, devices to evade law enforcement.
- Unapproved pharmaceuticals and supplements, prescription drugs, products with unproven medical claims.
- Hateful, violent, adult or otherwise inappropriate content.
- Recalled items, used items listed as new, and items the seller does not have in stock or cannot ship.
Restricted (allowed only with prior approval)
- Alcohol, adult-oriented products, healthcare and medical devices, and other categories that Google Shopping restricts by country or requires certification for.
- Branded products, only with proof of authorization (invoice from the brand or authorized distributor, or a license).
Misrepresentation rules
- No fake discounts, invented “was” prices, fake countdowns or fake scarcity.
- No false claims about origin (“Made in USA”), shipping location or certifications.
Enforcement
