IP / Counterfeit Report

Nest Commons respects intellectual-property rights and does not allow counterfeit or infringing products. Rights owners and their agents can report listings using the notice-and-takedown process below.

How to file a notice

Use the report form or email [email protected] with:

  • Your name, company, address, phone and email.
  • The right you own (trademark registration number, copyright work or patent) and proof of ownership.
  • The URL(s) of each infringing listing.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights owner, its agent or the law.
  • A statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

What we do

  1. We review complete notices within 2 business days and remove or disable the listing.
  2. We inform the seller and send them a copy of the notice.
  3. Funds for affected orders may be held pending resolution.

Counter-notice

A seller who believes a listing was removed by mistake may send a counter-notice with proof of authorization. We may restore the listing after 10 business days unless the rights owner informs us that it has filed a legal action.

Repeat infringers

Sellers with repeated valid notices are permanently removed from Nest Commons.
