On Nest Commons each seller is paid directly by its customers, through the seller’s own payment account. Nest Commons does not collect, hold or pay out sellers’ sales revenue.
Connecting your payment account — Airwallex only
Nest Commons accepts one payment provider: Airwallex. Before your listings can be bought you must have an Airwallex business account that Airwallex has verified (KYB), held in your verified business name, and connect it in your seller dashboard.
| Step | What you do |
|---|---|
| 1. Open and verify | Open an Airwallex business account in your business name and complete Airwallex’s verification. When asked for your website, list Nest Commons as a website where you sell. |
| 2. Enable payment methods | In Airwallex, enable cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Apple Pay and Google Pay; Klarna and Afterpay are recommended and require activation by Airwallex. |
| 3. Connect | Enter the Client ID and an API key created in your Airwallex account (Settings → Developer → API keys), the environment and, recommended, a webhook secret. Nest Commons stores the key encrypted, shows only a masked version, and uses it only to check the connection, create payments for your orders and issue refunds that you or Nest Commons approve under our policies. Never share your Airwallex login password. |
| 4. Verification by Nest Commons | Our team checks that the Airwallex account matches your verified business. Until then your listings stay non-purchasable and are not sent to shopping channels. You can revoke the key in Airwallex at any time (your listings then pause). |
Customers pay by Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna and Afterpay and the money settles directly into your Airwallex account. Nest Commons never collects, holds or pays out your sales revenue.
Commission invoice
- Commission (15%, see Fees & Commission) is recorded on every paid order and shown in your dashboard.
- On the 1st of each month we issue an invoice for the previous month (invoice number INV-YYYYMM-seller), email it to you and show it in your seller dashboard, where you can print it or save it as PDF. It is payable within 14 days to Nosh2Go LLC through Airwallex (card or bank transfer) using the “Pay” button in your dashboard.
- Invoice status is shown as Unpaid, Paid or Overdue. When an invoice becomes overdue, checkout for your listings is paused automatically and we email you a reminder; selling resumes as soon as it is paid.
Buyer Protection refunds paid by Nest Commons
If Nest Commons refunds one of your customers under the Buyer Protection Guarantee because you did not refund an approved claim, the refunded amount is recorded in your seller dashboard (with the claim and order number) and added to your next commission invoice. That invoice is payable within 14 days; if it becomes Overdue, checkout for your listings is paused until it is paid.
Refunds and chargebacks
You issue refunds from your Airwallex account to the customer’s original payment method and handle chargebacks and Klarna or Afterpay disputes raised through Airwallex. Fully refunded orders are credited on your next invoice. Refunds that you approve, or that Nest Commons decides are due under the Buyer Protection Guarantee, are issued from your Airwallex account through the API key you connected, instead of being added to your invoice.
Shipping fees
The Seller sets its own shipping fee in its store settings (a fee per order and, optionally, a free-shipping threshold). The Seller must: (a) keep the fee accurate and current, because it is shown on every product page and in the cart before checkout; (b) never charge hidden fees, handling surcharges or any additional amount after the order is placed; (c) keep the fee on the website identical to the fee sent to shopping channels — Nest Commons publishes it in the seller product feed (shipping per seller), so any change must be made in the store settings, not elsewhere. Nest Commons recommends, but does not require, free shipping on orders over $50. Shipping fees are not subject to commission.
Taxes
Sellers are responsible for their own taxes and their payment provider’s reporting (for example Form 1099-K). Nest Commons may request tax forms (W-9 or W-8BEN) for commission invoicing.
